Paradise Electric, together with its trade partner Dena Desarrollos from Spain, drew up the lightning protection project on the Vidin-Calafat Bridge and supplied all the materials for their construction.

The construction of the lightning protection system on the bridge ensures that the object is protected from direct lightning strikes and guarantees complete safety for the workers and protection against material losses. There are hundreds of vehicles crossing the bridge daily, and rail transport is also planned in the future. All the passengers are at risk in case of lightning strikes.

The project envisaged the installation of six Ingesco PDC 6.4 lightning rods, manufactured in Spain, whose protection radius covers the whole facility. The lightning protection system meets the standards UNE 21.186, NFC 17.102 and BDS EN 62305-3.
